One New Aftermarket Replacement Steering Shaft Support for Craftsman, Husqvarna, and AYP Lawn & Garden Tractors
This steering shaft support connects the steering shaft and sector gear, allowing the front wheels to pivot left and right. It is a wear item in the steering assembly -- a worn or "egged out" support causes loose, sloppy steering. Replacing it restores precise, responsive steering control on Craftsman (Sears), Husqvarna, and AYP/Roper riding mowers and lawn tractors.
