This 6-terminal ignition switch (also known as a heat start switch) controls engine start-up on a wide range of Fits Caterpillar (Fits CAT) excavators. It installs in the operator cab dash panel and includes two keys (5P8500). Rated at 24 volts, it replaces OEM Fits Caterpillar part number 7Y3918 / 7Y-3918.
