This heavy duty, pre-assembled ignition point set services Delco-Remy distributors with a screw-held cap and aluminum distributor housing on gasoline-powered agricultural tractors, combines, industrial tractors, and power units from 1964 and newer. The contact points are the critical switching component inside the distributor that trigger the ignition coil to fire each spark plug at the correct moment in the engine cycle.
