One New Aftermarket Replacement Recoil Starter Spring for Briggs & Stratton Small Engines

This recoil starter spring fits Briggs & Stratton horizontal pull engines and most rewind starter engines equipped with a starter clutch. When pulled, the starter rope tensions this coiled spring, which then retracts the rope back into the starter assembly for the next start. It also fits John Deere 210 trimmers. Replaces Stens 155-002 and OEM Briggs & Stratton part number 490179 (supersedes 294303 and 555226).
