This solid state magneto armature replaces the original ignition coil module on Briggs & Stratton single-cylinder engines powering John Deere and other walk-behind mowers. The solid state (electronic) design eliminates contact points for more reliable spark delivery across 7 through 16 HP horizontal and vertical single-cylinder engines. Replaces Stens 440-417 solid state module.
