This steel scraper bar mounts across the bottom of the auger housing on Ariens two-stage snow blowers, making direct contact with the ground to scrape away packed snow and ice. The bar is a wear item designed to be replaced when it no longer makes proper contact with the cleared surface. Height is adjustable at installation to compensate for wear over time.
